Not Being Tourists, Sort Of

Today the team headed out to a couple well known spots in NOLA.

We intended to head to historic Congo Square in Armstrong Park, but it's currently going through renovations so that the Jazz National Historic Park is a part of it.

Then, the team partook in local food care of CastNet Seafood...

If one is to order an authentic shrimp po boy sandwich, it should be at least 12 inches in length with an ample amount of shrimp.  If it doesn't meet those standards, it's not a real sandwich!  It also needs plenty of shrimp falling from the sandwich as one eats.  Can't get this back at home.

The team is planning to head to the free French Quarter Fest tomorrow where live music, food, and entertainment will inhabit the historic French Quarter and areas that line the Mississippi River.
