The City That Celebrates The Most

Today the research team spent time doing what New Orleans does best...festivals.  Today kicked off the French Quarter Festival, which is a free event to the public.  Here are some of the sights and sounds...

Later in the day, we met up with a cousin and interviewed her about her life, her parents, and their experiences.

Tomorrow we head to Baton Rouge which will begin the formal trip.  Our day starts out with breakfast and then a trip to the Louisiana State Archives.
